Lori Walfoort is a chiropractor who serves both Phoenix (Ahwatukee) and the surrounding areas in AZ. Born and raised in Phoenix, she returned to her hometown after completing her Chiropractic education to take care of those families in her community.
Dr. Lori Walfoort has always been committed to improving the lives of the children in her community. She began working with children’s charities while in high school and continued into adulthood, creating a non-profit martial arts school that taught families nonviolent conflict resolution.
Dr. Lori spent many years suffering from severe asthma and was a frequent visitor to the emergency room when she was young. She would sometimes be in the hospital for up to 2 weeks. She made it a point to go into a field that would help prevent children from suffering the way she did for many years. Chiropractic saved her life. Since starting under care (and SHE still gets checked at least once a week by a Chiropractor), her asthma has completely disappeared, she is no longer on ANY medication, and her body is able to function the way it should. Her mission is to educate, check, and adjust as many families as possible towards optimal health through natural Chiropractic care.
Dr. Lori learned first-hand the importance of Chiropractic care during pregnancy, having 2 high-risk pregnancies with her boys. Both boys received their first adjustment right after birth and she checks them on a regular basis still. Her younger son also required special care after his birth, and she credits the Chiropractic care he received from the time he was born and during his 12-day stay in the NICU for his amazing recovery.
Dr. Lori Walfoort received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic West in Hayward, CA in 2007. A member of the International Chiropractic Association, Arizona Association of Chiropractic, and International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Dr. Lori has had post-doctorate training focusing on prenatal and pediatric care.
Dr. Lori grew up in a Law Enforcement family and understands first-hand what the stresses of the job can do not only to the officer, but to family members as well. She considers “First-responders” family, and has a close relationship with The 100 Club of Arizona.
When Dr. Lori isn’t helping the members of the community regain their health, she is active in her church and enjoys spending time with her family. She loves movie and game nights, camping, NFL Football games (Go Cowboys!), and anything DISNEY!!
She is here to share her passion for health and healing with you!
